Love your books. As a prepublished picture book writer, I appreciate the language, word choice. I was wondering if you had illustrator notes for Superhero Instruction Manual. Thank you!
Hi, Katmaz! I did place illustration notes in the manuscript my agent submitted. I included a note, though, or had my agent mention that all illustration notes were intended as mere suggestions. I only included illustration notes that were necessary to show that the text reflected the opposite of what should be in the illustrations. I’m not completely positive if my editor left them all in when she sent the ms to the illustrator, but I’m thrilled with how the illustrations turned out. I think Mark Fearing is a genius!
