Eep! Two days without writing. I can’t make it up. I must just keep trudging forward. Onward ho!
In other news, I received a lovely, lovely, lovely rejection for my favoritest picture book, one of those kinds of rejections that almost makes you feel okay for not getting the acceptance.
Okay, maybe not.
I’m glad it was such a lovely rejection, but I’m sorry you got a rejection.
I’m sorry about the rejection, but ohhhh, how wonderful that there were lovely, kind words to soften the blow.
Onward!
“Lovely, lovely, lovely” rejections are the best kind.
Here’s hoping the next house will extend a lovely, lovely, lovely acceptance!
Keep moving forward. There’s no time to stop and look back, pondering what didn’t get done. Time spent pondering the past is not getting anything done in the present, I always say. Actually, I just made that up, but it sounds like something that one should “always say.”
if you have to get a rejection, I guess there isn’t anything better than lovely. Sorry it wasn’t a lovely acceptance, though. Onward and upward, because maybe the next time! 🙂
