I told you all the other week that my husband showed up at home with a dog, right? A stray from the university that had been hanging around the snack bar and begging food to make it in this world. Well, after a trip to the vet and a few tests, she’s been given a clean bill of health and has been with us for the last couple of weeks. She’s happy and healthy and just tail-wagging glad to have a family.
And she’s already made friends. 🙂

Oh yes! I forgot to say we named her Pepper for the sort of salt-and-peppery mix of hair in her coat.
And you know what? Shortly after we got her, I DID get a story idea from looking into those eyes. We’ll see what comes of it.

Pepper’s the perfect name. And she really does look like she needed you guys.
She’s quite a character. Here’s a funny: She loves the stuffed dog in the picture. Loves to rest her head on top of it. But she just ate the tail off of a stuffed cat. Made me laugh.
