I’m off to Washington, D.C. for:
1. The SCBWI Mid-Atlantic one day conference, where I’ll have my first ever manuscript critique for a mid-grade novel. (I’ve had pb manuscript critiques before but never one the “I have no idea what I’m doing writing a novel” novel.) Wheeee! And to top it all off, I get to see the wonderful
and others. Double wheeee!
2. The Marine Corps 10K on Sunday. There is also a marathon being run that day. I, however, felt that I didn’t have time “in this phase of my life” to train for another marathon. (Isn’t that much nicer than saying “I’m too lazy to train for it”? Just the 10K for me this time. But I’m open to discussing future marathon possibilities, if anyone wants to commit. π
And right now, I’m in the wonderful Charlotte, NC airport where they have complimentary internet access. Hooray for Charlotte, NC!!!
Have fun!
See you there!
Enjoy, Kristy! Hope it’s a wonderful time π
I’m glad to know you’re safely on the ground, even though you have yet to reach your final destination. Have a great, great conference and good luck on the race. AM has been gloating about getting to see you. We’re all jealous!
Love you!
Katy
Have a fabulous time! And tell us all about it!!! π
Have a wonderful time, Kristy! π
YAY!! Have a great time!! : )
Have fun, kd!
Have fun! Wish I could hang out this weekend with you and AM!
Enjoy yourself!!! I wish I could be there. (They think I live in DC because I have a pouch address and they send me all their announcements.)
I think the 10K is a nice distance. (That is the distance to the lighthouse and back to my home. If only I didn’t have those wicked headwinds.)
Have fun in DC. Say hello to Anne Marie for me. And good luck with the race!
Have a blast and good luck!
Hey there!
Hey, Kristy, you’ve been missed in our little group–hope you won’t stay away too long! π I just wanted to stop in and let you know that you’ve been tagged. So, if you want to participate in the game, stop by my blog for more info.
